"I picked up the cake for my wife's sister, this morning (the same wife who I had ordered a cake for back in Nov. with your help) and it was a success, as expected. :) It's different than the sheet cake we were used to, but just top layer served 6 people (with a piece left over) and everyone thought it tasted great. Please thank everyone involved and I look forward to getting my *own* cake for my *own* birthday, this August. :)"

Thank you so much for the wonderful 3-tiered birthday cake - everyone was raving about how delicious it was and asked where I got it (and I gladly told them). It was for my son's first birthday - he was born in the year of the tiger... It was great fun to decorate the cake as well and I think your concept of the semi DIY cake decorating is genius.

My MIL always complains...the usual complaint is the dessert is too sweet. That didn't stop us from picking up a tart to take over there last night for my FIL's birthday. We were hoping to take a Black widow Tart but you were out of the large one so, instead we took over a Basque Tart which was fine by me as I have been wanting to try it. My MIL LOVED it...not just a little....she had seconds, and then began to search all of her recipe books for something similar. You have NO IDEA what kind of compliment that is....she usually has some complaint about everything she doesnt make herself.
